Resource access

I’m trying to set up resource access in Revo 2.0.8 so that some pages (in specific resource group of Technical) con only be edited by specific User Groups (Administrators), but the pages should all still be publicly visible.

I’ve got the manager permissions correct, so the user groups can only see what they’re meant to be seeing BUT it can then no longer be seen by the public on the site.

I’ve given the (anonymous) user group a Resource Group policy for minimum role of Members (9999) of Load Only in web context.

What am I missing??

-> Resource Group access

• Resource Group: Technical / Min Role: 0 / Access policy: Resource / Context: mgr
• Resource Group: Technical / Min Role: 9999 / Access policy: Load only / Context: web

User group (anonymous)
-> Resource Group access

• Resource Group: Technical / Min Role: 9999 / Access policy: Load only / Context: web

You could try "load, list, and view." instead of just "load."

Actually, I think if you just remove the "web" context ACL entries, the resources should be unprotected in the front end.

You’ll have to create a Context Access ACL entry for the users with a context of "web" so they can see any web resources in the tree.
