Manager does not load on fresh installation

Hello all,

I am trying to set up a new MODx site on iPower, since that is their current host. I had issues with installation because the host required that I set a session_save_path on any scripts requiring sessions. Once I set that on the setup file, the installation went through flawlessly.

However, I am not able to log in to the manager. I get the login page and enter my username and password. When I hit the login button, I get a completely blank page. If I type in the wrong password, I get the usual wrong password message.

I searched the forums for this problem, and it seems like no one ever got it resolved (or posted their solution if they did.)

Are there other php files that require the sessions path?

A blank page is often indicative of a fatal PHP error. What do you see in your error log?
