Processor not found: input renderer

Revo 2.0.8-pl advanced on a dedicated Linux liquid web server, install went fine, for the most part no issues, just in creating template variables:

getinputproperties.php is just not present in the directory. The install archive was uploaded to the server as a compressed file (can’t recall, probably .zip) and uncompressed on the server in [some-directory] via the Cpanel file manager.

Assume all directories were properly set for the install, no fatal errors in the install and this is the 10th or so modX install for me.

Could I just drop an older modX version of getinputproperties.php in there or is there any solution short of a full re-install? The problem it creates is the Javascript fails once the render error outputs, won’t save or update. I can create TV’s but not edit them, have to delete them and recreate them if I want to say, change a text field to textarea.

There is a getinputs.php file and a getproperties.php file so I think either one of the files is misnamed or the call to the processor is wrong or that file is missing from the build. I’d guess #2.

I don’t have that file in my install and I can’t find "getinputproperties" anywhere in the code.

GAK I searched for notices, for whatever reason couldn’t find them. Thanks, I’ll run the upgrade in case other things are missing. Yeah getinputs and getproperties is there and getoutputs as well.

Ugh (Getting good at monosyllabic grunts,) just went through a complete upgrade with the latest and the issue persists. Tried renaming the files per Bob Ray’s suggestions, of course that kicks other areas . . . still needs getinputproperties.php.

Any resolution for this in the near future?

Did you re-download the advanced package? Did you make sure all your manager/ connector/ and other web files were writable before running setup? Advanced has to be able to overwrite ALL of the files.

Yes I did, in fact when it didn’t work the first time I deleted everything and re-unpacked and reran "upgrade" again so it didn’t kill the database work in progress.

I’m also getting "blank response from provider" in package management, no packages will show. I checked against a 2.07 install on a different server and it’s connecting there fine. Going to nuke the entire thing and re-install as an upgrade, will post anything I find out.

Just make sure you re-download the advanced package. The problem was present in the original package available for download and was fixed and updated on the site as indicated in the announcement.
