Fatal error: Class 'xPDODriver_' not found on upgrade from pre-revolution instal

Hi folks.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything web-dev related, so I may be a bit rusty. I’m trying to updrade an older version of modx (the old installation isn’t working properly, thus the upgrade, so I can’t check the exact version). I’m using the latest traditional version of Revolution downloaded from the site today. After backing up the site, I copied all the files over the top of my previous installation (rendering the site inacessible), and started the setup process. Using the advanced install I put in the existing database details, and the ’checks’ screen gives green ticks across the board. The next page gives the following error:



I searched the forums and came up with this thread: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=58403.0 I’ve tried copying the files to the server again, to no avail. I’m unable to wipe the database and start over, as I am attempting to upgrade an existing installation.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

If this is a pre-Revolution site, you cannot upgrade to Revolution from 0.9.x/1.0.x. I believe some folks are using the Provisioner Extra to transfer content from Evolution to Revolution sites, but both sites would need to be functional from my understanding.
