getResources how to get single or selected resources?

Hello,

I am using getResources snippet for Rev 2.0.8 and I would like to know how I get say resource 1,23,99 from parents 20,21,22? I have tried the &resources option with a delimited list and it’s not showing anything.

My call is like this

Are they hidden from menus? If yes, then you will need to add &showHidden=`1`. And if they’re unpublished, then add &showUnpublished=`1

It’s not that, it’s just not getting any resources. If I set the &parent=`` it ignores the &resources=`` and shows all the documents. I have just read another long thread and seems that it could be buggy.

I tried much of the stuff in this thread and it’s not working right. I tried



and this displayed 4 documents within parent 19 and not resource 77 on it’s own. I removed the &parents parameter and it shows 3 of the 4 resources, very odd.

I changed the parents parameter to &parents=`1` and set the &resources=`77,78` and it does show 77 and 78 but these documents are not in parent 1.

I’ll see how it goes but &parents=`1` seems to solve it regardless of what the actual parent is.

Does seem like a bug. I see one of the posters set &parents=`-1` and then set &resources with the ids he wanted and it worked. Seems strange

Thanks all, I have set the parent to -1 and seems to solve it. Hopefully this is a bug that will be fixed soon.

I will come back if I have anymore issues.
