TV Image, specify start path?

Hello, I want to give a few friends access to one of my sites to add news etc and one TV is for uploading images. Is there a way that I can make the browser window automatically open at say /assets/images/ rather than the home root? I don’t want them to start navigating around important files so is there a way to lock the browser options a little?

Set rb_base_dir, rb_base_url, filemanager_path and filemanager_url to assets/images/


If that doesn’t render the right result, try setting filemanager_path to the absolute (/home/user/domain/.../assets/images/).

I know this can be overridden per user, but could this be overridden per user group?

Usergroup-specific settings are not yet available. They are on the roadmap for future versions.

Things might get confusing if a user is a member of more than one group, but I bet you could dynamically set the filemanager path etc. for each user as they are created -- ie. you could shepherd these settings based on the user group you are adding to, and in the end, you'd get a fairly similar effect: a group of users would have a single folder for their uploads (for example).
