White screen of death and PHP auto_globals_jit

    I discovered another PHP setting that causes white screens of death and issues during installation.

    The main symptom is that a fresh install will show a white screen after a successful login to Manager.

    The php.ini setting is auto_globals_jit, which must be turned Off for MODx to work properly.

    That setting is not checked by the prerequisites page of the setup.

    I found this in MODx Revolution 2.0.7-pl (traditional)

      Perhaps something to do with this bug reported for PHP 5.1.4 and possibly other versions?
