I am probably missing something really basic. I didn’t have a problem in older versions, but this new system look much more easier.
I have a basic profile created which isn’t tied to any user groups (I assume it would be valid on all) even when I change this to administrators, I don’t get any results. It is set to active.
In the profile I have a resource/create set which has template empty and no constraints (this would apply to all templates, correct? this is also set to active.
I edited some values and hid some fields.
Now when I go to edit an existing item, I am not seeing any of the field changes.
I have looked through the wiki and it doesn’t give any examples on this new system. What am I missing?
you need to duplicate the set for update/resource.
I did that, made sure everything was active and then flushed all permissions, logged out and back in. Still not seeing any fields change (on both creating and updated documents.)
Some more information I noticed that the fields that I have marked as hidden are not showing and tabs are being renamed. The only thing not occurring is that the field names are not being renamed. This is on Rev 1.0.7
Since some of the actions are occurring, is there anyway to debug this? maybe with FireBug?
