Is a TV in a TV allowed? Or can this result in problems for example in in caching-errors?

For example: Can we put a TV called [[*alt]] in the field "Alternate Text:" of a image-TV?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

It works in our MODx-Installation but we don´t know if this results in problems somewhere else. We recently had bigger caching-problems which we didn´t know if they were co-influenced by TVs in TVs...

For our further work: Can anybody of the developers confirm if a TV in another TV like described above is allowed or if this is not a proper use of TVs?

Hope one of the developer reads this thread smiley

My rule of thumb is, if it works, then it’s proper.

I’m with Susan, in MODx sometimes you do things that does not look very (as she put it) proper,
but you discover that they just work fine... that is because MODx is awesome!
