Hi,
I want so use contexts for managing different subdomains. How am I to structure the folders/files on the webserver?
My approach is the following:
/domain.com
/www
/assets
/components
/connectors
/core
/manager
.htaccess
config.core.php
index.php
/sub1
/assets
/template
/content
.htaccess
config.core.php
index.php
/sub2
/assets
/template
/content
.htaccess
config.core.php
index.php
/sub3
...
The main page and MODX-Manager are in the folder "www" and the subdomain on the same level in "sub1", "sub2", "sub3" etc.
I do not want the URLs
www.domain.org/sub1 and
sub1.domain.org to call the same website, so the subdomain file shall not reside within the MODX folder.
Is there a better way?
Another thing (using the structure explained above): I am having problems displaying subdomain content from the "subX/assets/content" folder in TinyMCE and the subdomain at the same time. Seeing an image on the website brings me a "broken image" in TinyMCE.
The settings are:
Context web
filemanager_path = /customers/69641453/domain.com/www/assets/content
filemanager_url = http://www.domain.com/assets/content
Context sub1
filemanager_path = /customers/69641453/domain.com/sub1/assets/content
filemanager_url = http://sub1.domain.com/assets/content
Context sub2
filemanager_path = /customers/69641453/domain.com/sub2/assets/content
filemanager_url = http://sub2.domain.com/assets/content
...
Is there an error in my setting? Am I missing something?
