I’m running Modx on a windows server machine with the docroot pointing to a file server. Everything seems to work fine, except that the file manager in the Admin seems to get confused about file names. It can read the directory structure, but it fails when trying to retrieve a file for editing or uploading a file. When clicking on a file, it returns "file does not exist!" When trying to upload a file, it says "the specified directory is not a directory".
I’ve double checked permission settings and all looks good. This is confirmed by the fact that modx can write and delete cache files.
The file manager is producing links like "
https://mysite.com/manager/?a=41&file=\\fileserver\path\to\modxInstall\%2F\test.txt"
I’ve played with numerous combinations of forward and back slashes, but nothing works. I then tried moving the files to the local disk. That worked fine.
Any ideas? Has this been fixed in a newer release?
