    Hi,

We are a fairly long terms user of evo and are making the move to Revo for some of our projects.

We have a project for which we are considering Modx and just had a question which I don’t think has been answered anywhere else:

We want to run multiple websites for a client off a single install: separate domains for different divisions of a company. We intend to run these as different contexts.

There will be an element of shared content between these different domains (mainly product info) - what is the best way to share content in this way without having to duplicate the content each time? Can symlinks help here?

    thanks in anticipation,

    Chris

IMO, the product info should be in a shared database structure that is designed for product information. Then you can present it in various ways from multiple contexts/domains without any duplication of data; you simply have to setup the presentation for each context.
