[Solved] How to Upgrade to 2.0.7 manually?

I have a site build on 2.0.6-pl2.

As i understand, in the last version (2.0.7) a few important changes has been made, but still: just a few.
those tweaks and bug fixes are important, I’m more than sure
but how, instead of downloading the new version and uploading all this huge amount of files i can modify things manually?
or is there a minimal changes to be made? do i really have to upload all the files? and what are the risks upgrading (i’d backup, but still)?
is there a list of the files/db-tables that has been changed?

think it doesn’t make too much sense to manually upgrade to 2.0.7 because there are more than just 2 changes of files.
If you still want to (and don’t have SSH access for better handling with unzip etc), look at commits newer than "2011-01-06" -->> commits of "2011-01-14" here https://github.com/modxcms/revolution/commits/v2.0.7-pl
But be aware that you’ll better not replace that files but change code in it yourself.

I can get SSH access but i need to ask for it and then wait (go figure godaddy) about 48HR which i dones’t have,
But still, i can zip/unzip (`archive`/`un-archeive`) files on the server.

I’ve installed modx to the web root, so the alternative for doing it manually is: (correct me if i wrong)

1. Download the latest version, unpack it on my computer.
2. Then repack it not to be extracted into a sub directory so it would be extracted right away to the root,
when repacking do it without:
core/config/config.inc.php
core/components/ directory.

3. Then upload it with ftp client to the root, unpack it (extract it to the root),
4. Change CHMOD Attributes of core/config/config.inc.php on my server to be writable.
5. log out from the manager (clear site’s cache too?), clear cache on my browser.
6. go to /setup/ directory and run an upgrade, if everything is fine, great!
7. check the box to delete the setup dir.
8. change back the Attributes of the config.inc.php file.
done. (?)

Does it have side effects?
