here is my schema

Cut short i think this is the relevant bit for the problem
File structure is SchoolManagement/trunk/core/components/SchoolManagement/model/ from the MODx install directory
edited extuser.class.php which is found in the schoolmanagement directory under model
class extUser extends modUser {
function __construct(xPDO & $xpdo) {
parent :: __construct($xpdo);
$this->set('class_key','extUser');
}
}
created a system setting of extension_packages with a value of schoolmanagement:/var/www/SchoolManagement/trunk/core/components/SchoolManagement/model/
created new user but they still have the class_key of modUser and not extUser
Have I missed any steps anywhere.
EDIT forgot to say using MODx Revolution 2.0.5-dev (git)
