phpThumb don't displays nothing (modx 2.0.6 from git)

I’ve installed modx 2.0.6 on shared hosting with php5.2.14, GD 2.0.34 compatible. When browser goes URL such http://xxxxxx.xx/connectors/system/phpthumb.php?src=/assets/imagename.jpg&w=80&h=60&HTTP_MODAUTH=xxxxxxx&wctx=web it’s doesn’t recieve nothing. I can’t figure out how to debug phpthumb within MODX.

It creates thumbnail but don’t display it.

Any suggestions?

From git? Did you use the v2.0.6-pl2 tag or what? Otherwise, you aren’t necessarily using version 2.0.6.

I’ve got the same behavior on v2.0.6-pl2 too.

To be clear; i’m trying to do a call from flash to load the thumb in a flash gallery.
So i generate an XML first in Modx. that gives me the URL like above (http://xxxxxx.xx/connectors/system/phpthumb.php?src=/assets/imagename.jpg&w=80&h=60&HTTP_MODAUTH=xxxxxxx&wctx=web) but nothing happens.
Also pasting the url in a browser does not result in a picture in the browser.

To workaround this i now use the PHPthumb version from the Gallery package (http://xxxxx.xxxxx.nl/assets/components/gallery/connector.php?action=web/phpthumb&w=720&far=C&src=/siteAssets/images/name.jpg)
that does work a bit, but somehow i think there is either caching going on or i’m only able to get certain sizes. because when i change the width to any other number then 720(&w=720) i get nothing. And i’m not sure that is secure

So can i get a phpthumb image from calling an URL or do i have to use the modx tag? in which case i’m done because flash can’t do that.
any help would be appriciated
