I have the following setting in system configuration of MODx 2.0.6 pl2 traditional:
filemanager_path: assets/images/
filemanager_url: assets/images/
When I fill an image tv (e. g. "[[*image_tv]]"), it opens the filemanager and I can select the image. After that, the path in the tv is, for example:
/assets/images/picture.png
After saving the resource, and open it again, the path is:
picture.png
MODx seems to trim the path at the second opening of the resource. So, it makes a difference, if a resource is once or twice saved - the path is different. Why is that?
It causes massive problems when working with pictures. Every page has to be saved twice in order to get a constant path. In the template, I use
<img src="[[++base_url]][[++filemanager_path]][[*image_tv]]" />
