Hello! I am having a problem. I was editing my modx installation locally, in order to install a jquery slider. At one point, I logged into the live site remotely to check something, logged out no problem. nothing was changed to my knowledge. But now I am getting the following parse error and cannot login. Any tips? I am running v.1.0.2 and Php 5.

MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:

I should clarify: I cannot login to the REMOTE site, the local is fine.
It looks like your host may have changed the session handling on you. It’s very unlikely that you did anything that would cause this.
thanks Bob! I am new to PHP, and am contacting my hosting provider but am not sure what to ask them to correct. (am googling ’session handling’ as we speak)
thanks again Bob. Godaddy was able to fix it. For some reason certain PHP scripts have an issue with saving to /var/lib/php/session with the default permission set. They changed the folder to 777 permissions to fix the issue Just wondering if anyone knows why this permissions problem would happen, without, according to GoDaddy, no changes server side? It’s a mystery.
Also, I hate godaddy.
