A little help needed - revolution not as intuitive as evolution

BTW, in Revolution 2.0.6, there are checkboxes, but they are in the Access Policies section.

One problem with Evolution is that a user could only have one role, so whatever they could do with one resource, they could do with any resource they had access to. In Revolution, users can have different abilities with different groups of resources, but that means that setting things up is a bit more complex.

I primarily wrote that post because I have been so frustrated with Revo when it comes to managing permissions. I am slowly getting it though.

I wrote the section at my site so I’d have something to refer to when I forgot.

I’d also like to weigh in my thanks for the responses in this thread. I knew that there must be some guidance on this permissions thing somewhere. These two links are certainly my way forward to tracking down that eureka moment!
