I am having huge issues using the manager on a new MODx site. I installed 2.0.5 initially and had the same issues, but was happy that 2.0.6 was released shortly thereafter.
My problem is that after my first login, the manager ceases to function. I am able to login and see the MODx announcements and the top navigation bar, but the site tree is gone. Trying to navigate away from the initial manager screen yields me a blank page with only the top navigation.
I have done upgrade installs of 2.0.6 Traditional twice, and it functions normally on the first login. If I logout and log in again, the problem described above occurs. The actual site functions correctly.
Version: MODx Revolution 2.0.6-pl (traditional)
Server OS: Linux
PHP Version: PHP 5.2.14
MySQL: 5.0.91-log
Browser: Firefox 3.6.3
pdo_mysql is installed
Any clues as to what’s going on?
Check the paths in core/config/config.inc.php.
Paths are perfect, but thank you for that glimmer of hope. I think I’ll just do a clean install and hope for the best.
Yep. Clean install did the trick. This is what feels like my millionth MODx site, and the first time I’ve managed to botch an installation.
