I happened to have the MODx class open in my editor.
In mine, 3036 is the closing curly brace of this method:
/**
* Returns whether the event will propagate or not.
*
* @access public
* @return boolean
*/
public function isPropagatable() {
return $this->_propagate;
}
There’s one more short method below that one, then the EOF, so maybe Everett’s file got truncated.

Could $this->event-name be undefined? I think that would do it.
