Hi there - thought I’d finally go with Revo 2.0.6 on a new site having built many in Evo 1.0.2/3 also quite excited about the new Vision Cart Ecomerce Module.
I have now reinstalled (straight new installation & Fresh DB’s) three times to try and get things working - if I go to download extras and select an addon eg Email -> SPform I get the panel on the right with the Details and Download button if I click on Download I then get a popup Error Box.
Howvever if I manually download the package and then FTP it which I have done with Tinymce and then go into Package Management and search locally for Packages it is found - though have just downloaded and FTP’d SPForm and it has not found that on a local search??
Further Edit: Have FTP’d Login and a Sample site and can see those as well on a Local Search
I have checked with my hosting co and he has changed permissions and checked to make sure Curl is installed.
Have also tried in three browsers. IE8 could not even see Package Management window properly.
I’m sorry I do not have to hand all the Environment Infomation - but presume I could get that if needed from my hosting Co

Could you at least provide the error you get in the "pop-up Error Box"?
Well the great guys at Knet Hosting as ever went on a mission to sort this out and now it all works.
I’m impressed with the way one can select and install packages - but like others have commented would have thought a few basic ones should have been included on the initial install.
This is the response back from the Hosting Co when I asked them what the exact solution was as we knew it had to be with permissions etc

It was a combination of permissions and a similar issue to the other problems you had in the end, Mod Security is a software package that protects websites from hackers, SQL injection etc etc but unfortunately it does trigger the odd false positive, so I had to remove the rules being triggered from your website, unfortunately I will need to do this with any new installations of the software on new domains.
