I agree with Bob, domain pointing is confusing.
But I did try Zi’s scenario, and it does work!
I changed my subdomain to point to the root instead of the subfolder. I also changed its context so that its base URL is /, and that the site URL is site.com/revo/
Then I can access the subdomain via site.com/revo/, AND the FURL’s do work using the same .htaccess as the main Revo test site!
And btw, it did NOT work until I cleared the site cache. One thing about Revo - there are many scenarios when cache clearing seems to be absolutely critical, and for the poor schmucks who forget that or don’t know, they’ll be floundering around, just as I was, possibly having chosen the right solution method but not having it work anyway.
One last thing about Zi’s scheme: since the subdomain is pointing to the site root, to make this reliably work in a more permanent fashion, I’d need to write another redirect from the site root, to make sure the subdomain is forced to the subfolder. Thoroughly confused yet?
