If I am logged in as the Admin - and I view my site - everything is fine.
If I log out - and view my site - I can only see the home page resource - it does not pick up the template at all.
Once you start adding permissions to limit back end stuff - do you need to do anything to allow anyone to view things on the front end?
Any help would be great!
When you preview from the Manager, you have all the permissions you have in the Manager (assuming that you’re not logged on in the front end) -- this is a good thing if you do a lot of development but it can catch you off guard when you see the front-end as someone else.
Resources are "protected" in a context if they are in a resource group that’s connected to a user group by an ACL entry for that context (you might have to read that a few times).
If no resources are protected that way for the ’web’ context, they are unprotected in the front end and anyone can see them.
If they’re hidden in the front end and you want them to show, there are two main choices:
1. Unprotect them in the web context and just protect them in the ’mgr’ context.
2. Give (anonymous) users the ’load’ policy in the ’web’ context.
