This is a bug using IE that’s been plaguing me and I’ve finally confirmed that it exists in a completely clean, basic install.
With a brand-new, clean install of 2.0.5 with TinyMCE 4.1.2-pl added using all default system settings--
--Create a RichText TV with a default output type
--Assign the TV to a basic template
--Assign the template to a basic resource, add some content into the TV, and save
--In the manager using IE (8.0.6 here) navigate away to another resource or refresh the page and return to the TV
----May have to do the above twice to see the issue, since sometimes it will appear correctly the first time
The problem: In the manager using IE, when viewing the RichText (TinyMCE) TV no content will be visible in the window unless you click in the window and start typing. This is not an issue using Firefox.
I cannot tell if this is a TinyMCE issue or a core MODx issue, and I don’t know when the problem first appeared, but I’ve now confirmed all the above. If it’s a TinyMCE issue it was also occurring in the previous version (4.1.2-rc1).

MODx 2.0.5-pl Traditional
Linux 2.6.34.6
PHP 5.2.14
MySQL Client 5.1.52
MySQL Server 5.1.52
pdo_mysql 5.1.52
Can anyone else confirm this bug? It’s becoming a significant issue for me and I’m pretty sure it’s not unique to my environment. Thanks!
