Resources keep disappearing Revolution 2.0.0

Hi,
We are encountering very odd problem,on a fairly regular basis resource pages keep disappearing For example www.mysite.com/landingpage.html will vanish, I was wondering if anyone had a possible fix for this. Thanks in advanced.

The same keeps happening to me as well. The resources are there there inside the site tree in Manager, but to end users who go to the site, they appear as a blank page. This keeps happening randomly. If I Re-save or publish the affected resource, then it become visible to the world again.... until some random interval later, from a day to a week, suddenly the page is blank to users again.

I am running MODx Revolution 2.0.4-pl2
This is on a GoDaddy Linux environment.
PHP 5.x
MySQL 5.0
This bug affects Firefox 3.6.8, Internet Explorer 8, and Chrome.

Copy of error.log is attached.

Upgrade to 2.0.6. It should fix it.

Have any of you set up any custom resource groups or ACL’s

The only Resource Group I have is "web", which I think was the default to begin with.

I did add a "Moderators" group for users, because it was suggested by this tutorial, and I was playing with blog-like features:

"Moderators" contains my one single user.

If any user group is connected to a resource group and the Admin is not a member of the user group, the resources in the resource group will disappear for the admin.

There is only one single user, and that is the admin user, and that user is a member of both groups.

The homepage on the site keeps randomly going blank every few days. It appears this way when not logged in, to the general public. As soon as I log into Manager and re-save it, without changing anything, then it’s visible again, until after some random interval, it once again goes blank.

I don’t see how it could be something affecting the admin user since it disappears to everyone, including the public.

Agreed. From the error log, it looks like your MySQL server might periodically crashing or timing out. I assume the page isn’t actually being deleted, right?

If would help if you cleared the error log and checked it right after this happens to see if there is an error matched to that time.

Heh. Probably an example of GoDaddy having problems. The SQL server is also hosted.

Thank you for the advice. I will give this a try. I’ll go ahead and clear the log, and have a look at it the next time this happens.
