Wayfinder Output

Hi All

Anyone knows if there exist a way to get an wayfinder output more organized?
Normaly, wayfinder outputs all LI elements in sequence(please check the first image) and i want it separated by line (please check the second image). Is that possible?

What exactly are you trying to do? A Navigation menu or are you talking about the actual code display?

It´s about code display!!! Can i display the coda as my second image example?

You should be able to do that by creating custom &outerTpl and &rowTpl chunks and the placement of the [[+wf.wrapper]] placeholder

I created a chunk using this code...

<ul id="info"[[+wf.classes]]>
[[+wf.wrapper]]
</ul>

But the code display output somethibng like this...

<ul id="info">
<li></li><li></li><li></li><li></li><li></li>
</ul>

Why can´t i have something like ...

<ul id="info">
<li></li>
<li></li>
<li></li>
<li></li>
<li></li>
</ul>

What does your rowTpl look like?

Something like this with a return after the </li> should get the list items on separate lines.

<li[[+wf.id]][[+wf.classes]]><a href="[[+wf.link]]" title="[[+wf.title]]" [[+wf.attributes]]>[[+wf.linktext]]</a>
[[+wf.wrapper]]
</li>

updated: for revo placeholder tags instead of evo.

Wow i didn´t setup a rowTpl... but in that way i think it will output something like...

<li>
</li>
<li>
</li>
<li>
</li>
<li>
</li>
<li>
</li>

You’re right – though I think you would be better off with something like this with the spacing after the </li> that you want:
<li[[+wf.id]][[+wf.classes]]><a href="[[+wf.link]]" title="[[+wf.title]]" [[+wf.attributes]]>[[+wf.linktext]]</a>[[+wf.wrapper]]</li>

The wf.wrapper will insert another UL inside of the li if another level is needed for the menu. If you only plan on your menu 1 level deep you shouldn’t even need the wf.wrapper in the row.

So have you got any idea on this?
