Switching from Git version to "normal" version

Hi,

do I have to consider something special when switching from a Git distribution to the "normal" version of Revolution? While creating a new site, I used the latest Github versions in order to be able to use the new features like the revamped Form Customization interface. Now the site is in the final stage, and since some settings don’t work with the Git version (e. g. compress_css, compress_js and concat_js), I’d like to switch to the "normal" 2.0.5-pl in order to achieve maximum speed.

In the documentation I found advice for upgrading from a normal version to a newer normal version or from a Git distribution to a newer Git distribution, but what I’m planning to do isn’t mentioned there.

If there’s a way to make the mentioned settings work manually, that would be an option, too.

Backing up the files and the database is a matter of course, so you can leave that part out.

If you have Phing, you can build the compressed and concatenated files from _build/build.xml. Otherwise, just extract the new distribution package over the site (after backing everything up of course) and run setup...
