Are you running in MySQL strict mode, or on IIS?

I guess it’s strict mode, because I’m using MySQL5 with InnoDB storage engine.
I didn’t change any sql-mode in the default installation.

OK, this is funny.
I was redirected again to the first installation page because of 15 minutes idle.

Restarted again as an upgrade,
Then everything was installed successfully.

The upgrading didn’t check about the completion of the original installation, so this error came out.

This will be fixed ASAP, but for now, you need to have MySQL’s default storage engine set to MyISAM when you run the install. I ran into the issue myself yesterday but didn’t want to delay the rest of the updates. I’ll try and have a patch up today for working around the issue if you can’t change the server’s default storage engine.

This is not related to MySQL strict sql_mode settings or IIS. It’s just a change in the default storage engine settings in recent MySQL distributions.

I experienced this problem with the pre December 10 2.05 package. I am running MySQL 5.0.77 with MyISAM engine as default.

No, nothing changed except the missing file was added to the package. This will be resolved in xPDO first and then merged into Revo for the next release.

But FWIW, this is only reproducible AFAIK, if the default storage engine is something other than MYISAM. If you are getting this error otherwise, please provide details by updating the issue: Improvement #2927.
