hello all
this is my first post here, and im trying to learn my way about modx each day.
i´ve been working with it offline in mamp and i´ve made some improvements so far.
today i thought of installing modx in a subdirectory of my site, just to to see and feel it live.
the instalations went fine, no problems no errors, but...
when i made my way into the manager, after logging in, something was different (there is a jpeg attached below):
the news sections were huge without any division.
the manager menus are working but i get absolutly no reply from them (if i click in any of them i just brings an empty content below the manager menu.
the only menu item that works is the one who brings back the news section (the first one)
ive read the troubleshooting and i tried to do the eeacelerator thing, but im not allowed to mess with php.ini since i cant access it.
i talked to my host provider and they asked me to put some php.ini file with this on it on the various parts of my site, to see if it works, it didnt. all stays the same.
actual settings ========= my php.ini settings
eaccelerator.enable = 1; ========> 0
eaccelerator.optimizer = 0;
eaccelerator.debug = 1; ========> 0
i tryed with safari and ff same happens with both.
my system:
apache 2.2.15
php v 5.2.13
mysql 5.0.91 community
linux x86_64
modx rev 2.0.4 pl2
i read the foruns and found nothing, any help where to put the file(s), how to resolve this issue without changing the main php.ini, if in fact this is the real cause of this problem.
