    Hi Guys

I am having some strange link behaviour which i have only just noticed, for example when clicking on normal email link, modx wants to send the user to the following:

    http://www.sitename.com/ma/ilto:[email protected]

This then sends the user to my error page as obviously that page does not exist.

I presume this is to do with with friendly paths and it is also worth noting that in my site structure i do in have a /ma folder which is presumably why this is happening

Any help would be muchos appreciated!

    Thanks

Interesting. What happens if you change the alias on that folder resource to something other than ma?

i just changed the alias and changing /ma to another name corrects the link issue and the email link works correctly

However this is not going to be possible to permanently change as the folder is important and it has happened with similar links

any ideas as to what is going on?

What plugins do you have? I can’t duplicate this.

            Resolved!

I didn’t presume i had any extra plugins but scanning through the plugins folder revealed i had seo strict urls.

Disabling this plugin has corrected the links, i must have installed the plugin and forgotten about it.

            Thanks for your help!
