I don’t know what was wrong, but I was unable to login to Modx Manger today, (I was, until yesterday).
even though I’m 100% sure I haven’t changed my password, I requested a new password, but I received and error message that my email address is not registered. I decided to do a repair, when I started the installation I found no option for repair.
however I chose upgrade, and the installation went fine, and now I can login, and nothing lost.
So my question is does upgrade actually repair my installation? or this happen to me by chance?
In similar situation, does this considered best practice? Or I could have done other better things?
For what it’s worth, I’m using MODx rev. 2.0.3 (also I used it for upgrade) on CentOS 5.5.
