Hoping someone can help us here. Trying to do an install of Revolution and we’ve already successfully installed it on several machines.
However, one machine errors on the database creation with these error messages :
Connecting to mysql server:
Could not connect to the database server. Check the connection properties and try again.

Mac OSX 10.6.5
Apache 2.2.15
MySQL 5.0.7
PHP 5.3.3
All server requirements are met. MySql login details are correct and verified by command line login. That files is currently set to 777 so shouldnt be any problems with permissions.
Trying to install modX 2.0.4-pl2
I’ve run out of ideas on this one so any pointers appreciated.
