    I use modxv2 (MODx Revolution 2.0.4-pl2), and I like to manage my modele outside of the back office, to do it, easy:

    Step one) Create a snippet called "modele" or another name, as you want.
    Code inside:
    <?php include($modele . '.html')

    And create a new modele with the snippet, as:
    [[!modele? &modele=`default`]]

    This snippet will include the default.html file.
    This code is short and in revision 1 (as for me, alpha release).
    you can edit this file ’defaut.html’ with the file management using the CodeMirror plugins, a little stuff to edit and upload your html file with your favorite html editor without connect to the back office at each time.

    Bye.
