I need to create a series of static resources representing a library of PDF and XLS attachments -- we need to group these according to permissions so we can’t just throw them up on the server, we have to create a MODx resources to control the permissions. However, I seem to be running into problems with uploading files. This is a fresh install of 2.0.3.
I click "New Static Resource",
Then I click on the drop-down for "Static Resource", which brings up the MODx Browser.
Then I click on the "Upload Files" link...
And nothing happens. The "Upload Files" modal window comes up with a "Waiting..." message, but that message never goes away.
What’s going on here? Are there any logs or settings I can check?
Check core/cache/logs/error.log.
Also check to make sure PHP has writable access to the directory you want to upload to. MODx checks for that, but sometimes PHP’s writable checking is, well, fuzzy.
