There may be one, but you could also add a custom permission to that menu option in Manager->Actions. Then give that permission to the Admin (do that first) and to other users who you want to have that option.

Thanks, BobRay. Could you describe how to add the custom permission to the Admin (or any other user)?

Adding a permission for the admin just means updating the policy that applies in the Context Access ACL entry that affects the admin.
I’m doing this off the top of my head so it may not be quite right.

I don’t like to edit the standard policies, so I duplicate the Administrator policy (I call it MyAdministrator). Do that in Security -> Access Controls - Policy tab.
Just right-click on the policy and select "duplicate."

Right-click on the new policy and add a permission: "see_schedule"

Go to the User Groups tab.

Right-click on the Administrators group select "Update." Go to the Context Access tab and change the first entry to use the new policy.

Now, go to Manager->Actions. On the right side, find the menu choice you want to hide.
Right-click on it and select "Update."
Near the bottom of the form, there’s a "permissions field. Put see_schedule there and save. If there’s already a permission there, add a comma and see_schedule (no spaces).

          Hope that’s right. tongue

Thanks BobRay for taking the time to describe the workflow.

I followed your instructions but the user still gets an error when he clicks on schedule. I guess that there is one of the build-in permissions missing in his policy.

I’ve repeatedly scanned through the permission list of the Administrator to see which one should enabled for that user, but I could not identify the right one.

Does anybody know what build-in permissions need to be present for viewing the schedule?

                I think it’s view_document.

                  Thanks, BobRay.

                  view_document is the necessary permission.
