    Hello,

Not really sure if this is the right place for a how-to question on Revo. If not, please move it and tell me where to post in the future. Because there will probably be more how-to questions coming up smiley

Evolution gave me the possibility to quickly create websites. I hope Revo also has that capability.

As an dedicated Evolution-Developer I had my specific way of creating websites in Evolution. But now, in Revo, I’m totally lost.
In Evolution I created a subdirectory in assets/templates and put there all files having to do with a specific website. The CSS files, the JS’s (Jquery libs), snippets for this website and also the Template Files.
With "Template Files" I mean the PHP file which is included in a Template in MODX. That gave me the option of modyfying templates quickly in Dreamweaver, and MODX would pick them up. The template in MODX was one small snippet-call which included a file.

    So, the question:
Where do I put all this stuff in Revo? I don’t want to integrate them in the Revo (core?) stuff and need my own place for the complete website. Preferably a directory not being filled by other 3rd party packages. (That rules out /assets because of /assets/components?)

    Thanks,

    Bert

Do it the same way you did in Evo.
If you download an extra, you will see that part of the components
will be in /assets/components, so just create /assets/templates or
/assets/files, etc and put your stuff in there... I went ahead and
created the same structure for /assets in Revo as it was in Evo...
