Breadcrumbs... remove title

hello,

I’m using Rev 2.0.4-pl2 and I have breadcrumbs installed. I want remove the title="" option from the links and I have done that by editing the /core/components/breadcrumbs/breadcrumbs.class.php file. I saved it via my ftp and I also double checked it in the modx manager but the changes have not taken effect. Is there something I am missing? I cleared the site cache, made sure the snippet call is uncached as well.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

The file is just there for reference; when you install the Package it creates the Snippet as an Element in your installation.

Thanks for the reply, I still don’t see what needs to be changed to take the title="" out. Could you tell me?

I wrote quickcrumbs as an alternative to this snippet so I could easily template the output and not hack. I do not know where to edit it in the older Breadcrumbs snippet; you’ll have to use the Source...
