    Hi! (modx 2.0.4)
i moved my website from one folder to another (from a demo.myserver.com to www.mayserver.com)...

    This is what i did:
    1) move the folder contents
    2) update the mysql "path" in the table
    3) deleted core/cache/*

Still, the manager does not work (page loads only half showing message "Could not load controller request handler") and specially all the javacript bar at the top is not operational! This is what i get in console:

    example:
    "MODx.clearCache is not a function"

and so on for all buttons...

What is going on? What should i do? The docs says clear the cache, but the button does not work!!!

(the web site seems to be mostly operational, have not tested everything yet, but looks good)

      Some files may be missing.
Upload again, and do the installation process.

It was some kind of caching issue.

After 6 hours more or less it fixed automatically by itself.

        Why this?

This could be a browser cache issue, or at times I have run across pesky proxy caching ISP servers that didn’t show some changes for several hours.

I had one client who was staying in a hotel furious because I didn’t fix a typo in the content of a page immediately; I had fixed it, but the hotel was running its own caching proxy so he didn’t see the change for several hours, even though several friends I had around the world checked it and did see the new version. I never could convince him that it was in fact corrected immediately.
