Permissions on uploaded files?

I see there’s a system setting in Revo for new folders that are created, but is there a way to change permissions of uploaded files?

That didn’t show up in the list of system settings... but this one is obeyed if I create it?

Actually, I’m seeing that the new_folder_permissions setting is not being obeyed. I create a new folder and it shows up as 755 instead of 775.

When you create a new folder from where?

In the Files tab (left-side tree-nav area). I create the folder, but the permissions don’t come through with the setting I have made. Even on the server, I’ve been messing with the umask etc. so that new folders etc. are created with 775 perms, and when I log in via sftp or via ssh, the umask works. But the MODx system setting seemed to have no effect, even before I played with the umask settings on my server...

Is PHP running as your FTP user? Otherwise, it’s going to have different ownership and possibly a different umask? Maybe?
