    Hi all,
I’m using TinyMCE as Editor. Sometimes when I try to add an image, Apache crashes while I navigate through the assets folder. This happens not always but several times independent of the browser used (IE8 or Firefox 3.6.12). The windows error message said that ph5ts.dll was the culprit.

I’ve installed modx-2.0.4-pl2 into a default XAMPP 1.7.3 installation on Windows Vista 64bit (only passwords set and xampp-folder protection via .htaccess). Installation went without problems. PHP Version is 5.3.1, MySQL Version is 5.1.41.

Anybody else had a crash like this?

      Update:

I get theses crashes really often and not only when using TinyMCE and the Resource Browser. Examples when they occur:
. after clicking on Clear Cache
. after opening several chunks (one after the other)
. after clicking on "Update User"

The windows error message is always the same (sorry, this is in German):
      Problemsignatur:
      Problemereignisname: APPCRASH
      Anwendungsname: httpd.exe

There is no entry in the Apache error log. Strangely if I ignore this windows message (just close the message without closing Apache) I can work as before. At least there are not more of these windows error messages as before ...

Right now I’m working on my development server installed on my local computer. I hope that this will not happen on the live server. But nonetheless I would like to know what I could do to get rid of those messages. Are they related to the PHP version? I’ve read it could be related to addressing memory:

Its exactly as expected - part of the PHP code is attempting to access a memory address it does not have rights to == Code Bug.

      Any ideas?

This is referring to a bug in the specific PHP version/configuration you are using, not a bug in MODx PHP code.

          Thanks.

Fortunately the configuration on the Live Server seems to be stable.
