    Hi.

I’m trying to get my head around Form Customisation, in order to hide unneccessary details in Manager from potential users.

For starters, I’d like to hide ’Elements’ in the tabbed tree in the right, and the ’Security’ menu at the top.

I’m starting to get my head around revo’s implemetation of ACL’s, which helps a lot.

I’m at the point where I’m creating Rules to apply to a user group.
The dialogue for rule creation needs a ’Name’ and a ’Containing Panel’.

How do I discover these things?

Also, are there any examples of rule creation around, other then the ones in the docs?

    Thanks.

To hide the Elements tree, you would do it via an Access Policy, specifically by removing the ’element_tree’ permission.

To hide the top menu item ’Security’, just in your limited access policy, remove the ’access_permissions’ permission.

Best way is to duplicate the Administrator template, and use that for your users that you want to restrict.
