Hello forum,
I run Blue Onyx which is a Linux distribution based on CentOS v5.5. I have php5.1.6 with that and my box needs this for its UI

I cán get a php5.3.3 pkg (set by CentOS) next to 5.1.6 on my box. But first I’m trying to figure out if it really meets the Revo requirements. I’m a kind of longterm newbie when it comes to questions like this. So I ask here : is anyone happily running php5.3.3 on CentOS 5.5 with Revo?
Kind regards

Yep. Just installed PHP 5.3.3 on a new CentOS 5.5 (final) server, and it seems to be working fine. I wouldn’t recommend installing duplicate versions of PHP next to each other though. I like CentOS, but it’s a bummer that their packages are SLOW to update. I mean, PHP 5.1.6 is kinda old. But that’s part of what’s good about CentOS.
Thanks a lot Everett !
Like I said, 5.1.6 will then only be running the BlueOnyx panel, for my websites I can use 5.3.3 and therefor Revo

The pkg (from Solarspeed.net) should take care of everything. Splendid.

I had to bleed over the PHP config (like always), so let me know if you need a sample config to compare with.
