Hi,
I am having a problem when inserting images/links in TinyMCE when the page I’m editing is within a folder. For example on www.pcmaritime.dv8clients.co.uk/products/commercial/ecdis/product-specification.html there should be an image, but it’s not displayed because the src is added onto the folder URL that you’re in rather than from the root of the site. I have tried changing the filemanager_path etc manually, but can’t seem to find the winning combination. Can anyone help?
The site is using:
MODx Revolution v2.0.4
Windows hosting
Thanks,
Chris
As you’re using Friendly URLs, you will need to modify your template to include a <base> tag within your <head> section.
TinyMCE puts image paths and links as relative URLs, so you need to make them relative to the root of your site instead of the current folder.
See the section headed "Edit your template(s)" on this page:

In the <head> section of all templates:
<base href="[[++site_url]]" />
That’s brilliant! Thanks guys, worked a treat.
