    Hello,

I’m trying to create a TV that provides a list of sub-resources that the user can multi-select from the manager. I attempted to do this as follows:

    1. Create a new TV
    2. Set the Input Type to "Listbox (Multi-Select)"
    3. Set the Input Option Values as: @SELECT pagetitle AS `value`, id as `text` FROM `[[+PREFIX]]site_content` WHERE parent in (’[[*id]]’)

In the manager, for each resource the TV renders a list of resources directly under the root. The list is not dynamic depending on which resource you are modifying. Does MODX not allow you to specify resource-level properties in input options? I’ve also tried replacing ’[[*id]]’ with ’[[+id]]’

Thanks in advance for any help.

[[+id]] isn’t a valid placeholder there. But you could file an improvement for it here: http://bugs.modx.com

        Thanks for your reply.

I will go ahead and add it as a bug report.

Is there a way to accomplish what I’m attempting? This seems like a relatively common need - a custom sub-menu from the current page.

        Thanks.
