Wayfinder and Resource Permissions

Starting to wrap my brain around permissions in Revo...

I’ve now got a few pages that are off-limits to anonymous users, but Wayfinder still lists links to those pages in the menu it generates. Is there way to prevent WayFinder from displaying those links?

I almost feel like I need to create a separate resource group for "public pages", then associate it with the "anonymous" user group.

I think if Wayfinder can load the Resource, it’s going to be linked. If you want the menu to change based on who is viewing it, make sure that it absolutely is not cached, and that it cannot be loaded. It may be that Wayfinder (and possibly other Add-Ons like getResources) needs to be updated to only show Resources anonymously if they have the list permission for anonymous...

I’m still having problems here with Revo 2.1.1... both WayFinder and GetResources seem to ignore the resource groups entirely.

This is a huge problem.

I can’t reproduce this. I think you have some permission issues.

Any thoughts on where I should look?
