I searched the forums but could not find an answer, so here’s my problem.
I’ve updated a document through the modx manager, saved it and then cleared the site cache from the modx manager. Also cleared my browser cache. But when I view the document on the front-end of the site it is not updated. Going back into the manager to edit the file shows the changes have been made, but still viewing from the front-end I get the old document.
I’ve checked the modx error log and there is nothing in there, and everything looks good when clearing the cache from inside modx manager.
Any thoughts?

When that happens to me, it usually means I’m accidentally looking at the front end in the localhost install rather than the remote one or something like that. If that’s not the case, then either the MODx cache isn’t clearing properly or your browser cache isn’t. I know some versions of FF don’t always clear the cache.
The first thing to try is to delete all the files in the core/cache directory except index.php.
My next move would be to install AFT Cleaner:
http://www.atribune.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=25&Itemid=25, which will let you definitively clear the browser cache.
You could always check in another browser, too.
Nope still no luck. I’ve deleted everything in the "core/cache" folder via ftp. Installed 2 new browsers (Safari & Opera) to eliminate it being browser cache and both still show the old page on the front end.
It’s not a test version verses live version either.. the two urls are:
Manager: http://***.168.17.35/manager
Front: http://***.168.17.35/index.php?id=3
I’ve checked the row in the modx_site_content table id#3 and it matches what I see in the manager, but not what’s on the front.
Where could it be coming from?
I’m using Modx Revolution 2.0.4p2
