input type resourcelist

I have a TV with input type resourcelist. It works perfect to show the published documents but...
When I choose to output it as an URL how can I display the "pagetitle" and how can I make the URL more SEO friendly instead of using a number.

I know I can output it in default and then use the <a href"[[~link]]">[[getResourceField? &id=`[[*link1]]` &field=`pagetitle`]]</a> syntax but it would be great if this can be accomplished from within one TV to make the Template as flexible as possible.

Ok.. I run into quite some difficulties using the resourcelist. It doesn’t save the selected page/ resource. In the backend it keeps on showing "home" even when I save it displaying "contact" and the default is "2" (contact). There is no way to hide unpublished documents from the list. I haven’t tried to work with rule sets yet.

Is there any documentation on this input type?
