    Hi all

    A few things I’d love assistance with. Thanks in advance.

    1. Database Error

    At setup, I get the following error

    Error updating table for class modActionDom
    Array
    (
    [0] => 42S21
    [1] => 1060
    [2] => Duplicate column name ’for_parent’
    )

    2. Missing Tiny MCE

    My homepage Resource Content area where I normally see TinyMCE is displaying HTML instead of rich text and the TinyMCE UI buttons etc

    3. TinyMCE errors on TVs

    Same homepage is having problems with its Template Variables

    • A: The TinyMCE sections are about 1/3 of the size they use to be and only a few TinyMCE buttons are visible.

    • B: Several of the images in these TinyMCE areas are appearing as broken images. Images are loading in front end when I preview the pages which is good. I can’t click on the button to Insert/Edit image to see what the problem is because of point A above.

    I’ve unistalled and reinstalled TinyMCE and updated the to very latest version. I’ve flushed all sessions and caches too.

    Cheers.

      1. is a non-issue. Ignore it.

      2. Should be fixed by an upgrade of TinyMCE, and flushing your browser cache.

      3. Should also be fixed by an upgrade of TinyMCE.

      Can you provide this:

      Note: If you’re posting about a bug, please state all of your Environment information in your post: Version of MODx, Traditional or Advanced distribution (for Revo), Server OS, Server Version, PHP Version, MySQL Version (client and server), is pdo_mysql installed, your Browser type and version, if you are using any opcode caching such as eAccelerator, APC, winCache, xCache, etc; any relevant errors in core/cache/logs/error.log, and any other environment data we should know. We can’t help you without that information.

          Really bizarre - I don’t have this problem at all. Just tested on Firefox 3.6.10 on Windows 7, no issues whatsoever. Are you *positive* you have an empty browser cache?

          Also, can you completely uninstall TinyMCE - i mean, every prior version. I’m not sure why yours would be doing this. Mine works fine, on multiple installations, across browsers and OSes.

            You mean uninstall from within Modx and remove the TinyMCE folder via FTP? Tried that already.
            Might login from the wife’s PC and see what’s going on there.
            Thanks Shaun

              Right; uninstall from Package Management, and uninstall every prior version that way.

              Then reinstall. I don’t think this is necessary TBH - one uninstall/reinstall should work, but since your environment seems to be having issues, might as well try.

              Also, check for any relevant errors in core/cache/logs/error.log, or JS errors when editing the page.
