Help! Manager resource tree not showing, menu items not responding when clicked

Recently, I changed the config.inc.php file in the core to change the host site from ip address(ex. 123.23.123.1) to the site name (mysite.com).
The web pages seem to work but the manager does not display the resource tree and the main menu items will not click to anything. when i click on a menu item, i just get a white content area under the main menu navigation. Any ideas how to update the manager to work with the new host site name?

p.s. Manager is broken on both pc and macs, firefox, chrome, safari, IE 8. I believe this is a global problem, not just a browser issue

No one responded??? I’m literally having the same issue... I’ve been working on a site for HOURS and finally only had a few more tweaks to make before launch and now this happens out of nowhere!!! I’m so lost... I re-uploaded core ad manager folder.. I got in for a minute and then just to make sure I cleared cache (which really didn’t work) and flushed permissions... Shortly after I was back to the same place... Please help if you found a solution.

Thanks, -RJ

The OP’s issue was likely related to the server reporting the wrong ServerName in PHP, but hard to know with out more details of the environment.
