hi, been looking at this for a while and seen related bug reports, but I think maybe I’m doing something wrong seeing that people seem to report of TV checkbox values being saved but not retained etc, mine don’t get saved it seems. Here is what I did: set up a checkbox TV, assigned it to a template. Went to a page based on the template, checked and box and saved the value. Looked in the database, but no entry. Change the TV to a textbox, entered 1, saved, looked in the db (tmplvar_contentvalues table), now value is saved. So, it seems checkbox TV values are not saved in my install. Do I need to do anything else, is this a bug?
have you tried setting Input Option Values to 1 and the default value to 0?
i came across this just now, and that seemed to fix the problem. i guess if there is no value to insert into the database, it doesn’t get inserted.
this is weird - literally yesterday that’s what I did and I was going to report back here. I didn’t realise that if I don’t put the input value in, it wouldn’t get saved at all. I added ’hide nav==1’ in the input value and now all is good. Thank you, though!
